Who I am and what I do.
QUI SUIS-JE ?
I'm Ayoub Gaouet (pronounced 'GAWAT'), a Full-Stack Web and Mobile developer and UI/UX Designer based in Nabeul, Tunisia 🇹🇳
CE QUE JE FAIS
With a background in Software Engineering and a range of professional experience behind me, I specialise in web and mobile development alongside UI/UX design. During my internship at Code Temple I led the development of a web and mobile application connecting schools, parents and pupils, delivering over 505 user stories and applying agile frameworks such as SCRUM and SAFe while bringing in Design Thinking. That let me put modern technologies to work — Flutter, Laravel, Android Studio, Firebase and PhpStorm — to build robust, inventive solutions. Today at SYMATIQUE I apply my Android mobile development skills to optimising, debugging and releasing apps on the Google Play Store, while collaborating on intuitive interfaces in Figma. That mix of the technical and the creative is what lets me deliver solutions that stay centred on the user.

Before moving into Full-Stack web and mobile development, I spent five years as a graphic designer. That experience gave me a sharp eye for aesthetics and a deep grounding in user-centred design principles, which is what lets me bring function and visual appeal together in every project I take on.

Software Engineering Intern

As part of my introductory engineering-cycle internship, I contributed to the design and development of a web application for measuring ROTI (Return On Time Invested) in collaborative workshops.
My main responsibilities:
- Analysing the requirement and understanding the business problem
- Designing and building a web solution to collect and visualise ROTI ratings
- Building the interfaces for authentication and ROTI management
- Taking part in an Agile Scrum process: backlog, sprint planning, development, testing and validation
- Using modern web technologies to deliver an ergonomic, usable solution
Mobile Developer

- Built and optimised B2B mobile applications (Smart Order Mazraa, My Pet's) tailored to client needs.
- Designed and integrated UI/UX mockups to improve the user experience.
- Owned the full application lifecycle through to release on the Play Store.
- Corrective and evolutive maintenance of existing apps (Swifto Seller, Swifto CRM, Mazraa Market, My Pet's).
- Created Swifto POS, a touchscreen till solution for points of sale.
